So I’ve been brushing up on my high school biology as of late; particularly regarding the birds and the bees (I don’t quite remember how the birds were involved). Our tomatillo has been flowering for almost two months now and there has been no sign of fruit developing and I was beginning to get a little worried that it isn’t self-pollinating. Though there is a fair amount of confusion on the net, but it does seems to be capable, so luckily, I don’t have to run out to get it a girlfriend. It’s been very popular with both the local honey and bumblebees so I’m hoping for fruit later in August.
